While I wouldn't agree with the 80% blackout, I seriously love this tent... and so do my cats. xD One of my kittens loves to sleep on top of this and run up and down the sides like gravity doesn't apply to her. It is so comfortable in this thing too and the fabric allows just enough airflow that it isn't suffocating in there.The assembly can be a little annoying if you don't have enough space + the little pocket the ends go into doesn't always hold them right when you are trying to get it all together. They can pop out as you are bending the rods into place, but that is really the only issue I have with it and if you have an extra hand there is no problem at all. I also love that the rods fold up when I take the tent apart to wash the cover, thus making it very easy to store and move.Plus when the tent is assembled you can actually press the sides together to flatten it for easy moving.All in all, it is very cozy, and makes for an enjoyable space to chill.
