I rarely leave reviews, but I felt like I had to leave a review based on my experience with this tent.I bought this tent because I needed a small, lightweight tent for a trip to Montana which didn't cost too much. On the first night in camp, we were hit by a windstorm that caused damage to several tents. My tent held up great! Later that night, we had heavy rains. I stayed nice and dry in my tent - no leaks at all.Overall, I was extremely happy with this tent!Really like this little tent was super easy to set up. The only thing that I have a problem with is there’s no circulation for air it needs a window on one of the sides at least or in the backThis tent is for sure worth the money. It held up against the winds in the Icelandic highlands. It’s light, tough, and easy to set up.Took out of bag and set up first time on a trip, held up to strong winds with extra included ropes attached, did have dew in the morning first day when in the shade, next stop was in the sun in the morning and with low dew, I will be spraying it with waterproofing and keep a tarp incase of rain, I wouldn't trust it to stay totally dry in a rain storm on its own . Does allow airflow at base of door cover( no bottom zip on outer flap) but not too much, definitely holds heat well. Big enough for 3 athletic guys to sit in,but only recommend 1 person with gear or 2 for sleeping(close together) with gear outside.I weighed it when it arrived because it felt so heavy. It is NOT 2.86 pounds as it claims, it is 4.5 pounds. This is not acceptable as they claimed the weight in bold twice. The description is dishonest about the weight, it is likely that it is dishonest about other features too.If you are looking for simply a tent that does not need to be ultralight it might be ok for the money. I sending mine back thought as I don't trust any of it now.Waterproofing is an issue. The tent is extremely light weight but made of correspondingly light weight/thin/flimsy material. It’s a very inexpensive tent and in fog or humidity you will stay dry, but I would not take it on a multi-day trip where rain is possible. This tent WAS holding itself down through a storm. It was raining VEERY hard during the July 4th weekend which is why I am writing this review. The tent is WATER RESISTANT & I agree to some extent. Raining water started to come down from the bottom of the tent. Flooding everything inside the tent. After that, it was pretty much a no brainer that this tent is made for DRY TERRAIN ONLY. I like that the tent serve its purpose for camping and it can be use for DRY TERRAIN but only that alone sadly. Unfortunately, I will be returning it because of water is clearly water RESISTANT & not WATER PROOF. If you are going to deal with rain for a constant pace of at least 1 hour or so, this is clearly not the the tent for you.overall did pretty good with rain, i think some water seeped through the zipper though, and the condensation made water come through the tent so sometimes i would have to dry up some puddles. can be annoying putting together sometimes but it just takes some practice. it does not keep warmth well if thats why you want to buy it but it is a good value for the money
